In a barium study of a 20-year-old female patient, with chief complaint of diarrhea and longstanding vague abdominal discomfort, irritability of duodenal loop with some thickening of mucosal folds along with submucosal edema and probable infiltration were noticed.
Other salient radiographic features were rigidity and fixation of the medial wall of the cecum accompanied by ileocecal incompetency and thickening of valvar labia were shown in barium study. Reflux of barium through distal ileum together with tiny varioliform superficial ulcerations and erosions were demonstrated. Local hypotonia was due to ileus.
