The Health Promotion Group is an intersectoral body that pursues the following objectives:

To build capacity for health-promotion interventions, with an emphasis on institutions related to health.

To promote healthy behaviours across all settings by leveraging social resources and intersectoral activities.

To monitor public health hazards, raise awareness among the community and stakeholders, and propose appropriate interventions to address them.

To utilise legislative and structural mechanisms to advance health promotion.

To foster a culture of self-care.
