Duties of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Group
Working toward the realization of the country’s vision in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
Contributing to the implementation of the National Comprehensive Scientific Plan in pharmaceutical sciences.
Monitoring and conducting macro-level assessments of the national pharmaceutical system, analyzing its challenges, and providing practical, clinical, and service-oriented recommendations.
Critiquing current policies and programs in the national pharmaceutical system and proposing recommendations to the relevant authorities and institutions.
Facilitating knowledge translation in pharmaceutical sciences and advanced technologies, and in related care and service delivery areas, through collective initiatives and by mobilizing support and incentives for scholars, researchers, elites, and experts in pharmaceutical sciences.
Proposing scientific hypotheses and theoretical frameworks, expanding the frontiers of knowledge, and striving to elevate the country’s scientific and research capacity while preserving scientific and cultural autonomy and aligning with the National Comprehensive Scientific Plan for the pharmaceutical system.
Collaborating and proposing measures to promote culture and ethics within pharmacy practice.
Strengthening and promoting public health culture with respect to rational prescribing and medicine use among medical professionals and the broader society.
Providing fundamental scientific and research advisory services in pharmaceutical matters upon request.
